Pacheco's paintings have been exhibited in more than thirty group exhibitions and individual exhibitions in Oaxaca, Culiacán, Monterrey, Puerto Vallarta, Tokyo, New York, Buenos Aires, Guayaquil, Hamburg and Bremen. He is a well renown artist in the contemporary art movement in México - his creations have been included in Collections like: "Mexican Vision and his Artists", "Artistic Encounters" (Encuentros Plásticos), "Thresholds of the XXI century", "Colors and Images of Oaxaca", "36 Artists", "Artists Catalog in Oaxaca", "Engraving of the end of the century to 200 years of the invention" in the Iberoamerican Biennal of Art.Guillermo Pacheco has also participated in preserving the cultural roots of Oaxaca, painting for the Community Museums in the State and at The Ex-Convent of Santo Domingo. In that project at The Ex-Convent of Santo Domingo, he took part with a team of artists and worked on the restoration of the historic setting.
